Freedom Business Travel Launches Central Asia's First AI Agent for Business Trip Management

Freedom Business Travel, the B2B division of Freedom Travel, has introduced Central Asia’s first publicly announced AI agent for organizing business trips — AI Travel Agent. The solution is already available in Telegram and Slack, with WhatsApp and Microsoft Teams to follow. Arranging services for a business trip now takes no more than two minutes. AI Travel Agent is available in beta in two languages: Kazakh and Russian.

Previously, organizing a business trip looked like this: an employee described the services they needed, after which the company’s travel manager selected flights and hotels and checked them against the company’s travel policy and limits. The manager then finalized the options with the employee, confirmed payment, and only after that received the tickets and vouchers.

Now the entire process fits into a short conversation. The employee simply describes the trip to the AI agent in their own words. The agent selects the required services on its own, clarifies details when needed, and completes the booking in strict compliance with the company’s travel policy and limits. All the travel manager has to do is approve the payment.

How it works

The AI agent analyzes the employee’s request and puts the trip together: it selects flights, train tickets, a hotel, a transfer, and a taxi. In doing so, it takes into account numerous factors that can affect the quality of the trip:

1. Hotel location and rating — distance to the airport and the meeting venue, overall rating.
2. Corporate rates and special terms available from airlines and hotels.
3. Visa requirements — for international trips, the agent checks the destination country’s entry rules on its own. For example, citizens of Kazakhstan can enter Montenegro visa-free only from May 1 to October 1, 2026, and for no more than 30 days. Nuances like these are easy to get wrong when booking on your own.
4. Useful trip information — AI Travel Agent warns about important circumstances that may affect the journey. For example, it will flag extreme heat or heavy rain at the destination, or possible security lines at the departure airport.

If the information is insufficient, the agent asks clarifying questions. If no suitable options are available, it suggests alternative dates and routes.

At the same time, a Freedom Business Travel specialist monitors every conversation. If a non-standard situation arises — for example, a ticket exchange or refund is needed — you can always switch to a human.

Companies do not need to deploy a new system or retrain their employees. The agent fits into existing workflows in just one day and requires no complex technical integration.
