Turkish low-cost carrier owned by Turkish Airlines
AJet is a Turkish low-cost airline wholly owned by Turkish Airlines. It grew out of the AnadoluJet brand launched in 2008 and has flown independently under its own VF code since 2024. Its bases are Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen and Ankara Esenboğa airports, and its network covers more than 100 destinations in Turkey, Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia. From Kazakhstan, AJet flies to Ankara from Almaty and Astana, and flights to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen are scheduled from January 2027.

On international flights, Basic includes only a personal item of up to 4 kg and 40×30×15 cm. EcoJet, Flex and Premium add a cabin bag of up to 8 kg (55×40×23 cm) and checked baggage, 20 kg with EcoJet. Exact allowances are set out in the fare rules.
Online check-in on the AJet website and app is free: it opens 24 hours and closes 60 minutes before departure. You can keep your boarding pass on your phone, but some airports require a printed copy. Desks for international flights close an hour before departure.
Change and refund conditions depend on the package the ticket was bought in: Basic, EcoJet, Flex or Premium. Bookings made directly with AJet can be changed or cancelled in the flight management section of the website. Fees and deadlines are set out in the package rules.
Meals on AJet flights are paid: food and drinks are sold on board from the AJet Cafe menu, which you can view on the airline's website. Flights from Almaty or Astana to Ankara take about five to six hours, so it is worth planning a snack in advance.
AJet flights are economy only, and tickets come in four packages: Basic, EcoJet, Flex and Premium. Basic is the entry package and includes only a personal item. The other packages include a cabin bag and checked baggage. What each package includes is shown at booking.
The AJet mobile app lets you search for and buy tickets, check in online and keep your boarding pass on your phone. You can also add extras there, such as baggage or seat selection. Before departure, check whether your airport accepts mobile boarding passes.
