From Kazakhstan, China Southern Airlines flies nonstop from Almaty to Urumqi (twice a day), Beijing (daily), Guangzhou (three times a week) and Xi'an (twice a week), and from Astana to Urumqi (six times a week). Flight CZ5098 from Almaty lands at Beijing Daxing (PKX), not at Beijing Capital (PEK). It operates daily with an Airbus A321neo, leaving Almaty late in the evening and arriving in Beijing early the next morning. The return flight CZ5097 also departs from Daxing every day. Daxing is about 46 km from central Beijing, so allow time for the transfer into the city.
