Cheap air tickets LOT Polish Airlines

From Kazakhstan, LOT flies nonstop on the Astana–Warsaw and Almaty–Warsaw routes. Warsaw offers onward connections: the LOT network covers almost 100 cities, such as New York, London and Paris. The schedule changes by season, and current flights show up in the Freedom Travel search.

On flights between Kazakhstan and Warsaw, Economy tickets include a personal item up to 2 kg and 40×35×12 cm and a cabin bag up to 8 kg and 55×40×23 cm. Economy Saver has no checked bag, but one can be bought before departure. Standard and Flex include 1 bag up to 23 kg, and Premium Economy 2 bags of 23 kg plus 2 cabin bags of 9 kg. The three dimensions of a checked bag must not add up to more than 158 cm.

Online check-in on the LOT website and app opens 36 hours and closes 120 minutes before departure. On flights from Almaty and Astana you can only choose a seat online: documents are checked at the check-in desk, where you also get a boarding pass with a QR code. The boarding gate closes 15 minutes before departure.

It depends on the fare: whether a change is possible and the fee are set in the fare rules, and after a no-show many fares are non-refundable. Free cancellation within 24 hours of purchase applies only to tickets bought on the LOT website or through its contact centre, with at least 24 hours left before departure. Tickets bought from an agency are changed through the agency. For tickets bought on Freedom Travel, use the Refund or exchange section of the website.

Yes. On flights between Kazakhstan and Warsaw, Economy passengers get a meal served on a tray, plus water, hot drinks and snacks. In Premium Economy on medium-haul routes such as Astana, you get starters, a hot dish of your choice and a dessert before landing. On flights from Warsaw, a paid meal can be ordered online at least 24 hours before departure.

On LOT flights, your baggage is sent to your final airport, so you do not collect it in Warsaw. If you fly from Kazakhstan to a Schengen country, you go through passport control and a security check at Chopin Airport. If you do not have a boarding pass for your next flight, go to the LOT Transfer Center: it is at gate 26 in the Schengen area and at gate 20N in the non-Schengen area.
