How to get from Kokshetau to Zaysan: travel options

The main way to travel is a connection in Almaty through to Oskemen, followed by a road journey to Zaysan of roughly 450 km. There is also a second scenario: travel overland from Kokshetau to Astana (around 300 km) and fly to Oskemen from there — the capital has noticeably more flights to Oskemen.
